At Pro Fireworks, we have seen a lot of things over the years. However, nothing compares to the dog at the beginning of the clip below. He might be small, but don;t let his size fool you. This Daschund could own you in a fight any day. His weapon of choice? A roman candle. That’s all we’re going to say about it though. You will have to watch the video to see the full story, and you will love what you see!
Also, we need to let you know that there are other antics on the clip too, and yes, they all have to do with fireworks. Would you expect anything less? Of course not. We are Pro Fireworks after all. Its what we do. We love them!
So where does that leave us? We have a video for you, but you are still reading. I guess we could expound upon the safety precautions you need to take when enjoying fireworks over the 4th of July holiday. We could, but one look at the clip and you will see why a long diatribe on fireworks safety rules are unnecessary. Some of the people in the video skipped class when common sense was the subject. Judging from the video clip, they never went back to make up the work!
To Firework, or Not to Firework, Why We do Silly Things
No, I think a post like this opens up discussion of a different matter. We do silly things as humans, Michigan humans included. Yet, for years the only people privy to our silly, strange ways were those present at the event. The camcorder came along and broadened the audience somewhat, then the internet happened. That changed everything. Now the whole world can see our antics and we love it. They can watch us slip, flip and tumble. It never gets old. It’s funny.
As people, we love to entertain. It builds community, relieves anxiety and creates memories that last for years to come. Maybe that’s what we should think of doing this 4th of July. Amid all the barbecuing, fireworks displays, and water fun… don’t forget to make memories. They are permanent. Kids grow up. Friends come and go. Memories, however, well they stick with you. They are the therapists of our mind that help us along when life deals a sour hand. Sorry, didn’t mean to get too heavy, but memories are important. One day you will flip through your phone and laugh at the crazy things you posted on the 4th. You will smile at the people you see in those videos and pictures.
So make space to create memories this 4th of July, just don’t necessarily do it like the people featured in our little video clip. They are entertaining, but that little word posterity can be haunting should you choose to shelve common sense in the name of entertainment. Sometimes it’s better to be behind the camera than in front of it. That’s all we’re saying.
Speaking of video, you thought we were going to give it away didn’t you? You should know Pro Fireworks better than that. We don’t go around spoiling surprises because our entire business is built around it. You never know what you are going to see in a firework until it blooms in the night sky after all. Teaser video clips are no different.
So go ahead and watch, just don’t get any ideas. We spared you the rules speech. We can’t say the same for the folks in the video. Some of them bring new meaning to the phrase “Light fuse and get away!” Enjoy!
